zany production of, A Bad Year for
Tomatoes.
Storyline ~
Fed up with the pressures and demands of her acting career,
the famous TV actress, Myra Marlowe, leases a house in tiny
Beaver Haven to write her autobiography. She is successful
in turning aside the offers pressed on her by her long-time
agent, but dealing with her nosy neighbors is a different
matter. In an attempt to shoo them away, and gain some privacy,
Myra invents a mad, homicidal sister - who is kept locked
in an upstairs room, but who occasionally escapes to scare
away uninvited visitors. Complications result when the local
handyman develops an affection for "Sister Sadie" (really
Myra in a fright wig).
NOTE: We are currently seeking a hair stylist
to assist our actresses before performances. If you would
like to volunteer please call Lisa Martin (903-982-5778)
or Vicki Frankland (903-737-0906).
A student matinee will be performed January
29th. This is not open to the public but for students and
their teachers. A Q&A session will follow the performance
with the actors, directors and technical staff present.
We are very pleased to be able to provide this opportunity
to area educators.
Fore more info please call Lisa Martin (903-982-5778) or Vicki Frankland (903-737-0906)

him busy but he enjoys family time with his wife
Jennifer, sons Jason (17), and Ryan (12), and daughter

|
| June Cater |
June is married to the most wonderful man around
(John). She home schools their 4 children. This is
her 3rd play at PCT, the 1st without her family. In
her spare time she enjoys reading, shopping, and being
involved with the theater. She thanks her family for
letting her have this opportunity and for running lines
with her. She would like the audience to know that
she really IS a teetotaler! Thanks go to Vicki and
Alan, the cast, and crew.
|
| Dave Johnson |
Dave enjoys many activities including golf, bowling
and reading. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have time
for any of them because he gets up long before dawn
to play on the radio. Dave also goes to many community
events and reports on them. Fortunately, acting is
one of his most enjoyable activities and “Tomatoes” has
been a real joy.
|
| Monica Jones |
Monica
was last seen as the mother of 12 in PCT’s “Cheaper
by the Dozen”. In real life, she can only manage
4. She’s very proud of her children: Mackenna,
Spencer, Jacob and Chandler, and spends most of her
time educating them and supporting their numerous
activities. Thanks to Alan and Vicki for the opportunity
to
be on the stage again. Special thanks to her husband,
Kyle, for his endless patience and hours of coaching.

| Andrew Philpot |
Andrew has enjoyed most everything in his 4 years
at the Paris Community Theatre and has been inspired
by them to pursue a career in the arts. He graduates

apart of a youth rock band. He hopes to attend the
American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York this
fall.

Shelley loves being a part of the theatre and trying
out new characters. In some of her spare time she enjoys
reading a good book, playing games, spending time with
her family, and just relaxing.
