Storyline ~
George Banks is an average suburban dad, whose life isturned upside downwhen his daughter announces hersurprise engagement. The process of planning "a small wedding" takes on a life of its own. The guest list grows larger, a caterer is called in, florists, furniture movers and dress makers take over, and the entire family is sucked into a whirlwind of hilarious chaos. Dear old dad foots the bill for it all, but finds it worth it in the end!
